David Evans Benson

David E. Benson, age 51 of 2509 Lawrenceville Hwy., Apt. 14, Decatur, Ga. passed away Friday, February 6, 2009 at his residence.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in the New Bethel Cemetery in Pitts.Dr. Mason Davis will officiate. Mr. Benson was born on October 6, 1957 in Bay County, Florida.He had lived in Decatur for the past five years.He was a Mechanic and served his country with honor in the United States Army.He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include:Father and mother-T. O. Benson, Jr. and Carolyn B. Benson of Blairsville, daughters-Kristina Bradshaw of Atlanta and Leah Farmer of Chattanooga, Tenn., brothers-T. O. Benson III of Milford, Delaware and Sheldon Benson of Dayton, Ohio, sisters-Lynette Moore of Albany, Sherree Kilpatrick of Cordele and Mechelle Peterson of Irmo, S. C. and 5-grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
