Danny Lee Clack

Danny Lee Clack, age 47 of Northmont Road, Taylorsville, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at his residence.A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 23rd in the Double Run Cemetery.Visitation will be one hour from 12:00 until 1:00 PM in Dobule Run Church before the graveside service.Reverend Ray Johnson will officiate. Mr. Clack was born on September 17, 1965 in Tifton.He was son of the late Laverne Calhoun Clack and Dr. James LeRoy Clack of Danville, VA. He was a Drama Teacher in the Catawba School System and had also taught in the Alexander County School System.He was an active member of First Baptist Church in Taylorsville where he had served as a Deacon and Drama Leader.He was a 1983 graduate pf Alexander Central High School, and earned his teaching certificate at Appalachian State University. Survivors include:his father-Dr. James LeRoy Clack and stepmother-Nellie Jones Clack of Danville, VA, two sons-Christian Clack and fiance, Katey Wright both of Boiling Springs, NC, and Cassidy Clack of Taylorsville, brothers-Larry Clack and wife, June of Hickory and Jim Clack of High Point, nephews Brandon Clack of Hickory, and Brent Clack and wife, Ashley pf Bethlehem.He is also survived by numerous othe special relatives and friends. The family request no flowers and requests that memorials be given to the Danny Lee Clack Memorial Fund, C/O First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 305, Taylorsville, NC 28681. Frazier and Son Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
