Danny Elder age 68 of Autumn Wood Apt. #19, Abbeville, Ga., passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 in Rochelle.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 21, 2010 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Reverend Ralph Griffin and Reverend Brian Cason will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Owensboro. Mr. Elder was born on November 20, 1941 in Abbeville, Ga.He was son of the late Ray Elder and Bessie Lois Harrison Elder.He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include:brothers-Ed Elder of Fitzgerald, Charles Elder of Fitzgerald, Mike Peters of Richmond Hill and James Gibbs of Fitzgerald, sisters-Ethel Lois Simmons of Vienna, Sudie Elder of Sparks, Pat Miller of Abbeville, Sara Hockensmith of Fitzgerald, and Lola Elder of Swainsboro. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Saturday, February 20 in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
