Dane C. Bruce

Dane C. Bruce, age 67 of Abbeville, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 in the Houston Medical Center.A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AMThursday, December 31st in the Cannonville Cemetery.Reverend Jim Faircloth will officiate. Mr. Bruce was born on November 8, 1948 in Warner Robins, Ga.He was son of the late Walter E. Bruce and Hazel Daniels Bruce.He was a former Correctional Officer with the Wilcox Correctional Institute and the Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Service. He was of the Baptist Faith. He served his country with honor in the United States Air Force.He was preceded in death by a brother, Herby Bruce. Survivors include:son-Tim (Cindy) Bruce of Abbeville, daughter-Teia (Steven) Trepanier of Tifton, grandchildren-Kameron and Karsen Bruce and Ashlee Trepanier and great-granddaughter-Ava Griffin.
