Clifton H. Garrison

Clifton H. Garrison, age 82 of Abbeville, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 in the Taylor Regional Hospital. Graveside service will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 25th in the Cedar Creek Cemetery.Reverend Chuck Taylor will officiate. Mr. Garrison was born on January 2, 1930 in Abbeville.He was son of the late Turner H. Garrison and Annie Beatrice Graham Garrison.He was retired from Robins air Force Base as an Expeditor.He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and served his country with honor in the United States Army.He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen S. Garrison. Survivors include:daughters-Gay Gilliam of Abbeville and Karen (Steve) Crawford of Rochelle, grandchildren-Doug Crawford, Melissa Maxwell and Garrison Hudson, great-grandchildren-Gavin and Anna Maxwell and Isabella and Olivia Hudson. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 16495 Hwy. 233, Abbeville, Ga. 31001 or to the charity of choice. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
