Cindy Kent, age 46 of Pitts, passed away Sunday, November 21st, 2010 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 24th in the Pitts Baptist Church.Reverend Jim Faircloth will officiate.Interment will be in the Pitts Cemetery. Mrs. Kent was born on March 30, 1964 in Athens, Ga.She is a homemaker and member of the Pitts Baptist Church. Survivors include:husband-Rev. Bill Kent of Pitts, father and mother-Kerry Steele and Joyce Steele of Winterville, son-Allen Kent of Pitts and daughter-Sarah Kent of Pitts, brother-Scott (Dinah) Steele of Hiram, sisters-Penny (Matt) Morris of Social Circle and Joy (Paul) Maddox of Arnoldsville and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, November 23rd in the funeral home. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to:Crisp County Cougar Marching Band, 2402 Cougar Alley, Cordele, Ga. 31015. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
