Chuck Mashburn, age 72, of Ft. Valley, formerly of Warner Robins, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, at his residence. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base in the Nontemp Storage & Mobility Division. Chuck was a member of the Classic Car Club, enjoyed fishing and hunting, and loved his Georgia Bulldogs. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a Baptist by faith.
Chuck was born November 23, 1949, in Macon, Georgia, to the late James W. Mashburn III, and Macie Jo Lide. He is survived by 3 sons, Brion Mashburn, Sr., Chance Mashburn, and Coy Mashburn; 1 daughter, Nikki O’Brien, 1 brother, James W. Mashburn IV; 4 sisters, Connie McGirt, Vicky Shaw, Shari Roberts, and Debra Roberts Maple; and 6 grandchildren, Brion Mashburn, Jr., Adam O’Brien, Max Mashburn, Kaden Brand, Mallory O’Brien, and Aiden Fleming.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 16th, at 3:00 pm. in Morningside Cemetery with Military Honors. Rev. Richard Compton will officiate.
