Cecil Wilcox

Cecil Wilcox, age 83 of Abbeville, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in the Medical Center Navicent Health. A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, September 8th at 3:00 PM in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Reverend Billy Kimbrel will officiate.Visitation will follow the service in the funeral home. Mr.Wilcox was born on August 27, 1936 in Abbeville, Ga.He was son of the late Mark Wilcox and Mattie Stone Wilcox.He was a member of the Abbeville United Methodist Church and was retired from Sears Automotive with 39 years of service. Survivors include:wife-Carolyn Wilcox of Abbeville, sons-Mark (Lisa) Wilcox of Lakemont, Ga. and Dean (Mystee) Wilcox of Gray, Ga. and grandchildren-Mark Duncan, Ryan Dean, Cecil Mark Wilcox III, and Lynsey Clark, and a great-grandchild-Louise Abbigail Clark Wilcox. Mystee Wilcox will play prelude and postlude and the congregation will sing “Great Is Thou Faithfullness”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
