Cathy S. Clinton age 52 of 610 S. Broad St., Abbeville, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 8, 2008 in the Abbeville United Methodist Church. Rev. Chuck Taylor will officiate. Interment will be in the Stubbs Cemetery in Abbeville. Mrs. Clinton was born on October 16, 1956 in Pulaski County having lived the greater part of her life in Wilcox County.She was the daughter of the late William Ray Spears, Sr. She was a member of the Abbeville United Methodist Church and was a Floor Clerk at Hammond’s Furniture Company. Survivors include:Husband-Mack K. Clinton of Abbeville, mother-Mary Lois Spears of Abbeville, brother-William Ray Spears, Jr. of Hawkinsville, and sister-Marsha Faye Finch of Eastman and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday, Nov. 7 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Abbeville United Methodist Church, C/O Margie Cannon, 8036 American Legion Rd., Abbeville, Ga. 31001 or the Blue/Gray Hospice, P. O. Box 1447, Fitzgerald, Ga. 31750. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
