Carolyn H. Wilcox

Carolyn H. Wilcox, age 83, of Abbeville, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021, at her residence. She was a graduate of Abbeville High School, attended Middle Georgia College, and loved to play baseball and basketball.She was a retired secretary forState Wholesale Foods, and a member of Abbeville United Methodist Church. Carolyn was born September 15, 1937, in Abbeville, to the late Jerome E. Harvey and Estelle Sutton Harvey.She was also preceded in death by her husband Cecil Wilcox in 2019, and her brother, Jerome E. Harvey, Jr. in 2020. Survivors include her sons, Mark Wilcox (Lisa) of Lakemont, Ga., and Dean Wilcox (Mystee) of Gray; her sister, Evelyn Wilcox of Pitts; three grandchildren, Mark Duncan Wilcox (Lindsey), Ryan Dean Wilcox, and Cecil Mark Wilcox III; and a great-granddaughter, Louise Abbigail Wilcox. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 3rd, at 4:00 p.m. in the M.G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Toole, Pastor Kevin Baker, and Rev.
