Carolyn Fowler Ratliff

Carolyn Fowler Ratliff, age 75 of Cordele, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 25th in the Double Run Baptist Church.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 2-3 PM in the church.Reverend Quillian Barfield, Reverend Ed Reeves and Reverend Tom Stephens will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Double Run Cemetery. Mrs. Ratliff was born on May 29, 1941 in Cordele.She was daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Fowler and Clara Bell Johnson Fowler.She was a homemaker and primary care giver for her mother.She was a member of the Double Run Baptist Church and was a former employee of Carter Burgers in Cordele for over 20 years.She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Helen Reed, Doris Joiner and Dorothy Bratcher. Survivors include:husband-Dan Ratliff of Cordele, brothers-William F. (Barbara) Fowler of Byron, Donald (Sherry) Fowler of Cordele and Robert C. (Wanda) Fowler of Sale City, sisters-Evelyn (Wallace) Watson of Tallapoosa, Betty (James) Shortes of Meigs and Jackie (Charlie) Hall of Woodstock and a host of nieces and nephews.
