Carl Felton Payne

Carl Felton Payne, age 69 of Abbeville, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 in the Abbeville Healthcare and Rehab.A Memorial graveside will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, August 22 in the Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, Ga. with Military Rites. Mr. Payne was born on November 10, 1944 in Macon, Ga.He was son of the late Earl Edward Payne, Sr. and Maggie Lee Hawkins Payne.He was a self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.He served his country with honor as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Payne is survived by a brother-Donald Payne of Mobile, Alabama and a sister-Martha Wiggins of Warner Robins, Ga. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
