Mrs. Bobbie Brown, age 72, of Abbeville, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009, at Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Care in Perry, GA.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2009 in the Pitts Church of God.Burial will follow in the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Abbeville, GA. Bobbie was born April 23, 1937 to the late Robert Martin and Grace Davis Martin.She was retired from the Warner Robbins Air Force Base and was a former employee of Nell’s Fried Chicken in Rochelle, GA.She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard H. “Luke” Brown.She attended the Pitts Church of God in Pitts, GA. Survivors include one son, Lenny Brown of Abbeville; one daughter, Kathy Bullington of Warner Robins; a sister, Jo Cowart of Adel; and seven grandchildren, Miranda Bullington, Columbus, GA; Ralph Bullington, Jr., Pitts, GA; Beth Brown, Rachel Brown, Amber Brown, Trey Brown and Ryan Brown all of Abbeville, GA. Visitation will be at her residence, 1155 Mockingbird Road in Abbeville where the family will receive friends and relatives. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle have charge of the arrangements.
