Billy Bissette, age 89 formerly of Pitts, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 in the Dublinair Health and Rehab in Dublin.A service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 22nd in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Reverend Bobby Pope will officiate.Private interment will be held in the Christian Home Cemetery. M. Bissette was born on October 18, 1930 in Spring Hope, NC.He was the son of the late William Nathan Bissette and Oma Brown Bissette.He was a retired technician with CRC Heating and Cooling and was a member of the Christian Home Baptist Church.He was preceded by a brother, Edgar, and sisters, Pauline, Grace, Pearl and Louise. Survivors include:wife-Mary E. Bissette of Dublin, daughter-Brenda Pope (Bobby) of Rochelle, son-Randy Bissette (Terrie) of Toomsboro.Grandchildren-Robby Pope (Wendy), Lorie Goss (Danny), Nathan Bissette (Nicole) and Heather Bissette (Jennifer) and their mother, Sharon (Bill) Sanders. Great-grandchildren-Matt Goss (Mandy), Kyle Goss (Emily), Tyler Goss (Jade), Luke Goss, Morgan Pope (Wanda), Mollie Pope, Mason Pope (Brittany), Skyler Phagan (Taylor), Raven Simmons (Logan), Olivia and River Bissette.Great-Great-grandchildren-Parker Pope, Silas Griffin, Ace Pope, Shelby Phagan, Pyper Pope, Murphie Simmons, and Lennox Simmons.
