Betty Sue Payne Nelson

Betty Sue Payne Nelson, age 53 of Ty Ty, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 13th at 2:00 PM in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Reverend Glen Ford will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Cedar Creek Cemetery, Abbeville, Ga. Mrs. Nelson was born on May 5, 1965 in Fitzgerald, Ga.She was daughter of the late David T. “Bud” Payne and Gladys Payne.She was a teacher at Matt Wilson Elementary School in Ty Ty and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Ty Ty.She was preceded in death by a brother, David “Bubba” Payne. Survivors include:husband-David Ricky Nelson of Ty Ty, daughter-Melina Marie Nelson of Ty Ty, grandson-Drake Payne Ledlow, mother-in-law-Anna Maria Nelson of Birmingham, Alabama, step-mother-Brenda Payne of Rochelle, step-brother-James Kevin Dennard of Fitzgerald and step-sisters-Kathy Solomon of St. Augustine, Florida, Melissa Miller of Abbeville and Katrina Dennard of Cordele.
