Betty Stewart McBryant, age 81, of Pitts, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 3rd, at New Hope Baptist Church, Crisp County, with Rev. Jerry Lavender and Rev. Doug James officiating.Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Mrs. McBryant was born July 9, 1937, in Fitzgerald, Ga., to the late Charles A. Stewart and Fannie Pearl Crenshaw McBryant. She was a homemaker, and member of New Hope Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, William H. McBryant. Survivors include her sons:Donnie McBryant of Pitts, Darrel McBryant (Wanda) of Pitts, and Steve McBryant (Gay) of Pitts; daughters: Cindy Jackson (Bruce) of Austell, and Linda Forth (Frank) of Cordele; step-sister, Ellen Crenshaw of Rochelle; 10 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Trey and Andy McBryant, Ben and Jake Jackson, Ryan Hall, Eason Peavy, and Donald Whisman. Alex Clements will provide the music, singing "Sheltered in the Arms of God", and "I'll Be Satisfied." Frazier and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
