Betty Jo Crenshaw Mygrant Miller

Betty Jo Crenshaw Mygrant Miller, 80, of Rochelle, Georgia passed away on August 26,2017, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at Union Baptist Church on August 29,2017 at 11:00AM with visitation to be held one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church cemetery. Betty Jo was born in Pitts, Georgia on April 2, 1937 to Mary Christine Baker Crenshaw and Joseph Byron Crenshaw. At the age of 17, she married her first love Jimmie Wrandle Mygrant.Betty and J.W. enjoyed getting together with her sister and friends singing gospel music on the weekends. They had four children together: Michael, James, Janet, and Robin.J.W became a preacher and Betty supported him until his death. In 1986 Betty was blessed to find love again with William Harris Miller. Betty then gained two more sons, Mike and Harris. Betty and Willie enjoyed their golden years traveling, spending time with their family, and studying genealogy until Willie passed away. Betty is preceded in death by Reverend Jimmie Wrandle Mygrant her first husband, Judge William Harris Miller, her second husband, and her stepson, Harris Miller. Betty is survived by children Michael (Bonnita) Mygrant, James “Jimmie” Mygrant, Janet (Steve) Mauldin, Robin (Tina) Mygrant, and Micheal (Teresa) Miller, brothers Joe (Laverne) Crenshaw and Dan Crenshaw, sisters, Janie Fullard, Geraldine Black, Florence Penley, Ruth (Homer) Adams and sister-in-lawJeanette Dominey. She had 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The family would also like to give a special thank you to her caregiver, Catina Colson. Pall bearers will be Russell Ayotte, Jason Addison, Robert Addison, Randall “Bubba” Addison, Roger “Trey” Troutman, and Ryan Addison.
