Betty Carol Helms

Betty Carol Helms, age 66 of 517 Christian Hill Rd., Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 19th in the Christian Home Baptist Church.Visitation will be one hour before the service in the church at 10:00 AM.Reverend David Clark and Elder Willie Hatfield will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery. Ms. Helms was born on March 31, 1947 in Columbus.She was daughter of the late George Helms.She was a teacher with the Wilcox County School System with 35 years of service.She was a member of Christian Home Baptist Church. Survivors include:mother-Elizabeth Helms of Rochelle and 2-sisters-Linda (John) Smith of Rochelle and Debbie (Joey) Boney of Rochelle. Pallbearers will be:Keith Wade, Kenny Wade, Tim Miller, Mike Copeland, Billy Hawkins and Vince Shoemaker. Music will be provided by Beth and Wade Watson. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
