Berdie Mae Teal, age 100 of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in the Crossview Nursing Home.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 8, 2016 in the Rochelle United Methodist Church.Pastor Nancylee Cater and Reverend Bill Jones will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the service from 10-11 AM in the church.Interment will be in the family plot in the Bay Springs Cemetery in Rhine, Ga. Mrs. Teal was born on March 15, 1915 in Rhine, Ga.She was daughter of the late Chester Conley and Minnie Marchman Conley and widower of the late William H. Teal.She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist Faith.She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Miriam Teal. Survivors include: son-William C.(Charlie Mae) Teal of Americus, daughter-Mary (Pete) Hilliard of Rochelle, 5 grandchildren-Jamie (Mandy) Hilliard, Joey (Hannah) Hilliard, Chris Teal, Mark Teal and Sherrie (Ben) Hargrove, 12-great-grandchildren and 4-great-great-grandchildren.
