Barbara D. Stevens, age 78 of Abbeville, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 23rd in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in the family plot.Reverend Blake Westbrook will officiate. Mrs. Stevens was born on December 15, 1935 in Cordele, Ga.She was daughter of the late Odell D. Daniels and Etta Mae McCranie Daniels.She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar F. Stevens and a daughter, Kimberly Sue Hardin in 1995. Survivors include:daughter-Sherry (Mike) Bloodworth of Pineview, 2-grandchildren-Jeffery (Brandy) Bloodworth and Doug (Mandy) Bloodworth and 6-great-grandchildren-Blakelyn, Hadli, Kaitlyn, Bo, Brandon and Bryce Bloodworth. Rhonda Henderson will sing “Heaven’s Sounding Sweeter Everyday”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
