Barbara T. Hall

Barbara T. Hall, 86, of Rochelle, Georgia, died Monday, February 27, 2023, at Pruitt Health in Ashburn, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Rochelle with the Rev. Richard Compton officiating.  Interment will follow in Morningside Cemetery in Rochelle.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services in the sanctuary on Wednesday.

Mrs. Hall was born March 21, 1936, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late Woodrow W. & Evelyn Fowler Tillman.  She retired as the bookkeeper for Wilcox County High School after 25 years, and later worked in the Warden's office at Wilcox State Prison.  She was a member of the Alberta Crummey Garden Club and the Wilcox Rifles Chapter United Daughters of the Confederacy.  Mrs. Hall was a member of First Baptist Church of Rochelle where she taught the Ruth Sunday school class and sang with the Golden Voices choir.  She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a doting Grandma, Mimi, and Giggy.  Most of all, she was a faithful follower of Christ, and her family rejoices that she finally made it home.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Bobby Bragg of Rochelle; son, Tim Hall of Rochelle; grandchildren:  Jennifer Holt-Bostic of Rochelle, Joe Bostic of Abbeville, Jason & Abby Holt of Fitzgerald, Anna & Keith Harper of Rebecca, Matthew Hall of Rebecca, and Sara & Carson Brooks of Rebecca, and their mother, Louise Hall of Rebecca; great-grandchildren: Osjha Bostic, Juliana Bostic, Breeleigh Bostic, Thomas Holt, Samuel Bostic, Deacon Harper, Davis Holt, Evie Catherine Bostic, Josie Harper, Maddox Holt, Stella Grace Holt, and Molly Brooks; a sister, June Nation of Moultrie; and two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Rogers of Moultrie and Gail & Cyrus Leavens of Lakeland, Florida.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 61 years, J. T Hall; a great-grandson, Jayce Bostic; a brother, Ronnie Tillman; and a sister, Mamie Rentz.
