Autry M. McWhorter, age 75 of Pitts, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 in the Serenity Place Hospice Care in Dublin.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 17th in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.Visitation will be one hour before the service in the church from 1-2 PM.Reverend David Clark and Reverend Craig Barnette will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mr. McWhorter was born on February 25, 1942 in Rochelle.He was son of the late Lawson M. McWhorter and Ethel Mae Carter McWhorter.He was a self-employed farmer and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include:several nieces and nephews, close friends and care givers-John and Margaret Yeoman. Pallbearers will be:Jimmy Guy, David Yeoman and Glen Yeoman, Reed Humphrey, Brent Peebles and Jason Peacock. Rhonda Henderson will play prelude and postlude and sing “I’ll Meet You in the Morning” and “Just One Rose”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
