Aurelia B. Marshall

Aurelia B. Marshall, age 85 of Rochelle, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 22nd in the Pitts United Methodist Church.Reverend Nancylee Cater will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery. Mrs. Marshall was born on February 27, 1928 in Pitts, Ga.She was daughter of the late James Harrison Braziel and Estelle Teagle Braziel.She retired at age 83 as a Bank Receptionist at the Colony Bank in Fitzgerald.She was a member of the Pitts United Methodist Church and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Douglas Marshall. Survivors include:sons-Bland (Sue) Marshall of Pitts, Keith (Kathy) Marshall of Rochelle and Allan Marshall of Alpharetta, daughters-Angie Garrard of Cumming and Myra (Ronnie) Hadden of Gibson, brother-Delano Braziel of Pitts, 10-grandchildren and 6-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Saturday, December 22nd in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Pitts United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 472, Rochelle, Ga. 31079. Pallbearers will be:Ben Hadden, Greg Garrard, Derrick Wood, Jamie Tkaczvk, Del Braziel and Rex Bullock. Music will be provided by Delano Braziel, Marti Schert and Henry Dennard.Selections will be “Amazing Grace” and “Old Rugged Cross”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
