Archie F. Dewitte

Archie Dewitte, age 72 of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at his residence.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 9th in the Morningside Cemetery.Pastor Jason Newell will officiate. Mr. Dewitte was born on September 6, 1941 in Utica, Michigan.He had lived in Rochelle since May of 2014.He was son of the late Frank Francis Dewitte and Julianna Desnyder Dewitte.He was a cable installer for Suntek Cable, Inc., was a construction worker and farmer.He served his country with honor in the United States Army. Survivors include:brother-Ed (Anne) Dewitte of Rochelle, nieces-Teresa Maltby of Port Collins, Colorado and Carolyn Alderman of Lakeland, Florida and a nephew-Edward Mathew of Longmont, Colorado. Violin music will be provided by Audrey Cason.Selections will be “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms”, “Amazing Grace” and “In the Garden”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
