Annie Mae Weldon

Annie Mae Weldon, age 85 of Abbeville passed away Wednesday May 5, 2010 in the Osceola Nursing Home in Ocilla. Funeral services will be held at2:00 PM Friday in the Siloam Baptist Church in Abbeville. Reverend Jim Faircloth and Reverend Chuck Taylor will officiate. Interment will be in the Siloam Cemetery. Mrs. Weldon was born October 17, 1924 in Hawkinsville, Georgia.She was the daughter of the late Jim Smith and Roxie Ann Ward. She had worked as a garment inspector at Champion Sportswear Mfg. in Fitzgerald. She was a member of the Siloam Baptist Church. Survivors include: daughters, Frances (Joe) Henderson, Abbeville, Wilma Fletcher, Abbeville and Patricia (Dale) Frazier of Rochelle, 7 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM Thursday in the Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Blue-Gray Community Hospice, P.O. Box 1447, Fitzgerald, GA31750. The family will be at the residence of Dale and Patricia Frazier 1008 4th Avenue Rochelle, Ga. Frazier & Son Funeral Home of Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
