Annie Grace Gordon

Annie Grace Gordon, age 74 of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2010 in the First Baptist Church of Rochelle.Reverend Talmadge Wilcox and Reverend Wayne Martin will officiate.Interment will be in the Christian Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Gordon was born on April 25, 1935 in Pitts, Georgia.She was daughter of the late George Elbert Turk and Emmie Lee Teagle Turk.She was retired Civil Service Employee from Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rochelle, the Ruth Sunday School Class, the Golden Voices, the Wilcox Farm Bureau, and the Woodmen of the World.She was preceded in death by her husband, Thelbert Gordon. Survivors include:son-George T. (Janet) Gordon of Rochelle, daughters-Nancy (Jack) Sheffield of Rochelle and LeAnne (Tim) Worley of Rochelle, brothers-G. B. (Gaynelle) Turk of Sandersville and Emil (Romelle) Turk of Macon, sister-Willadean (Bob) Cooper of Byron, 5-grandchildren and 9-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, January 29 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home. The family suggests that memorials be made to the persons charity of choice. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
