Allen "Jabo" Craft

Allen “Jabo” Craft, age 68 of Vienna, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 12th in the Cannonville Baptist Church.Reverend Chuck Taylor will officiate.Interment will be in the Cannonville Cemetery. Mr. Craft was born on February 25, 1946 in Fitzgerald.He was son of the late Andrew Jackson Craft and Sarah Whitley Craft.He was an employee at Wards Sales in Cordele as a Shop Foreman in the welding department.He was a member of Cannonville Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Ann Craft and Connie Evers.He served his country with honor in the United States Army. Survivors include:wife-Mary Craft of Vienna, sons-Jarrett, Josh and Jason Craft all of Cordele, Andrew Craft of Vienna, Thomas Craft of Hazelhurst and Allen Craft of Sparks, daughters-Wanda Myers of Ashburn and Cheryl Craft, step-son-Scott Carpenter of Cordele, brothers-Jimmy and Jerry Craft both of Sycamore and Keith Craft of Cordele and 20-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, March 11th in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
